Prolunga attiva Equip USB 2.0 tipo A connettore maschio a connettore femmina, 10 m

The equip® USB 2.0 Type A Active Extension Cable (10 m) extends USB connections up to an additional 10 meters while maintaining signal integrity. It uses an active component to boost the signal for longer runs and features a Type A male to Type A female connector pair. The cable supports USB 2.0 speeds up to 0.48 Gbit/s and comes in black, suitable for extending peripherals, hubs or other USB devices where a longer reach is required.

Advantages

The active design compensates for signal attenuation over long distances, allowing stable USB 2.0 communication at extended length. The plug-and-play construction requires no drivers or external power in typical setups and the standard Type A male-to-female connectors ensure compatibility with existing USB devices and hubs.

Suitable for

• Extending keyboards, mice and webcams
• Connecting USB hubs or printers placed farther from the host
• Temporary or permanent workstation setups where cable length is limited

Key specifications

• Cable length: 10 m
• Connector type: USB 2.0 Type A male to Type A female
• Maximum data rate: 0.48 Gbit/s (USB 2.0)
• Colour: Black
• Weight: 0.227 kg

How to use

Connect the male Type A plug of the extension cable to the host computer or an upstream USB hub, then connect your USB device to the female Type A socket. For best results, avoid coiling the cable tightly and keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference. The cable is plug-and-play and usually does not require additional drivers.

Recommendations

For devices that draw significant power (external hard drives, some hubs), use a powered USB hub or connect the device to its own power supply to ensure reliable operation over the extended connection.
