Prolunga Brennenstuhl 1198590 50 m 3 prese AC per esterni

The Brennenstuhl 1198590 power extension cord provides a 50 m cable with three AC outlets for outdoor power distribution. Designed for use where a long reach is required, this extension cord has an IP44 rating to protect against splashing water and limited dust ingress. The unit includes built-in overheating and overload protection to help reduce risk during extended use. The cable is supplied in a black jacket and the outlet housing is available in the listed colours to suit different outdoor environments.

Advantages

The 50 m length allows connection of equipment at a significant distance from a fixed power source, reducing the need for multiple shorter cords. IP44 ingress protection offers basic water and dust resistance suitable for many outdoor conditions. Integrated overheating and overload protection provide an additional safety layer for connected devices. Three AC outlets enable simultaneous powering of several tools or appliances without requiring extra adapters.

Suitable for

• Powering garden equipment such as lawn mowers, hedge trimmers and pumps
• Outdoor construction sites for hand tools and lighting
• Events and temporary outdoor setups requiring multiple outlets
• Maintenance tasks around buildings where a long cable run is needed

Key specifications

• Cable length: 50 m
• Number of AC outlets: 3
• Ingress protection: IP44 (protection against splashing water and limited dust)
• Safety features: overheating protection, overload protection
• Intended environment: outdoor use
• Product colour: black cable; outlet housing available in blue, red, stainless steel

How to use

Unroll the cable fully before use to avoid heat buildup. Connect the mains plug to a properly rated outdoor socket and confirm the socket is protected by a residual-current device (RCD) where required. Plug devices into the AC outlets, ensuring that the combined load does not exceed the rating of the extension cord and the supply circuit. Keep the outlet housing elevated and away from standing water, and store the cable coiled and dry when not in use.

Recommendations

For safe operation, inspect the cable and outlet housing for damage before each use, avoid sharp bends or kinks, do not use the extension cord if protective covers are missing or damaged, and limit continuous load according to the connected equipment and supply capabilities. When used outdoors, position the housing to minimise exposure to heavy rain and physical impact.
