Prolunga DisplayPort DeLOCK 87078 2 m 8K 60 Hz piegata

The DeLOCK DisplayPort extension cable 87078 extends an existing DisplayPort connection and features a male 90° right-angled DisplayPort plug and a female DisplayPort socket. The cable is triple-shielded, 2 m long and 7 mm in diameter, and supports resolutions up to 8K Ultra HD (7680 x 4320 @ 60 Hz) while remaining backwards compatible with 4K Ultra HD. The black cable is intended for reliable audio and video transmission in confined spaces where a right-angled plug improves cable routing.

Advantages

The right-angled male connector reduces strain and saves space behind devices. Triple shielding improves signal integrity and reduces interference. Support for up to 8K at 60 Hz ensures compatibility with high-resolution displays while backwards compatibility covers lower resolutions. The 2 m length offers flexibility for desktop and AV setups.

Suitable for

• Extending a DisplayPort connection between a monitor and a computer
• Connecting displays in tight or space-limited setups where a right-angled plug is needed
• High-resolution video and audio transmission up to 8K@60 Hz
• Replacing a short or damaged DisplayPort cable without changing ports

Key specifications

• Brand: DELOCK
• Model / MPN: 87078
• Length: 2 m
• Maximum resolution: 8K Ultra HD (7680 x 4320 @ 60 Hz); backwards compatible to 4K
• Connector 1: DisplayPort male (90° right-angled)
• Connector 2: DisplayPort female
• Cable diameter: 7 mm
• Colour: Black

How to use

Insert the female DisplayPort socket of the extension cable into the DisplayPort cable coming from your source device or monitor, then plug the right-angled male DisplayPort connector into the device port. Ensure connectors are fully seated. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and avoid placing heavy objects on the cable. The extension functions transparently; no drivers or power are required.

Recommendations

For best performance at 8K@60 Hz, use quality DisplayPort cables on both sides of the extension and avoid excessive cable lengths beyond the combined recommended totals. Keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources to minimise interference.
