Prolunga elettrica AS Schwabe modello 60343 — 16 A, 15 m

AS Schwabe 60343 is a 15 m power extension cable rated for 16 A current, designed to provide a reliable mains connection for appliances and power tools at a distance from fixed sockets. The cable features a durable outer sheath suitable for indoor and protected outdoor environments and ensures continuity of power supply up to 15 metres, enabling flexible placement of electrical devices where a 16 A supply is needed.

Advantages

The extension cable supports continuous 16 A current, limiting voltage drop for medium-power appliances and equipment over a 15 m run. Its construction includes a robust sheath that resists mechanical wear and offers protection in sheltered outdoor conditions. The cable is straightforward to plug in and disconnect, making it practical for temporary power supply tasks and workshops. Designed by a recognised manufacturer of electrical accessories, it follows standard safety and compatibility expectations for general-use extension leads.

How to use

Unroll the cable fully before use to minimise overheating and ensure stable current delivery. Connect the plug to a compatible 16 A mains socket and then attach the appliance or tool to the socket end of the extension lead. Avoid running the cable across sharp edges or through doorways where it can be pinched. For temporary outdoor use, place the cable where it is sheltered from direct rain and prolonged exposure to sunlight. Regularly inspect the sheath and connectors for signs of damage and discontinue use if any deterioration is found.

Recommendations

Use the cable within its 16 A rating and avoid daisy-chaining multiple extension leads. For continuous heavy loads, consider locating a closer fixed socket or using a permanently installed circuit to reduce risk of overheating and voltage drop. Store the cable coiled in a dry place when not in use and check connections before each use.
