Prolunga elettrica Bachmann 7x Schuko 2m

The Bachmann Power Extension Cable 7x Schuko 2m is a compact IT-PDU designed for installation in 19" racks and for general power distribution. Housed in a high-quality aluminium profile with a depth of 44 mm and a height of 1 U, this unit provides seven Type F (Schuko) outlets and a 2.0 m H05VV-F 3G 1.50 mm² mains cable with a right-angle plug and earthing contact. Multifunctional mounting brackets allow varied installation positions, and the construction meets Bachmann's quality standards for secure contact and reliable operation.

Advantages

The aluminium profile and compact 1 U form factor enable easy integration into standard server and network racks while keeping a small footprint. Seven grounded Schuko outlets provide convenient power distribution for multiple devices from a single unit. The 2 m cable with a right-angle grounded plug reduces strain behind racks and supports tidy cable routing. Multifunctional brackets offer flexible mounting options to suit different rack configurations.

Suitable for

• Rack-mounted IT equipment requiring multiple grounded outlets
• Small server rooms and network cabinets
• Power distribution for workstations, monitors and peripheral devices
• Environments where compact, low-depth PDUs are required

How to use

Install the PDU in a compatible 19" rack using the supplied multifunctional mounting brackets. Position the unit at the desired depth or offset according to the rack layout, secure the brackets, and route the 2 m mains cable to a suitable grounded wall outlet. Plug devices into the seven Schuko outlets as needed, observing the rated voltage and ensuring the total load does not exceed the circuit capacity. The right-angle plug helps keep connections close to the rack without excessive bending.

Recommendations

Use this PDU in indoor, dry environments and distribute connected device loads to avoid overloading a single circuit. For critical systems, consider monitoring and additional surge protection layers. Regularly inspect the cable and outlets for wear and ensure proper earthing connections.
