The Schwaiger STDT2718 power extension provides seven AC outlets and a 1.8 m cable, designed for indoor use where multiple devices need to be connected from a single mains socket. The unit is available in a black and white finish to match common home and office interiors.

Advantages

This power extension combines a compact footprint with a relatively long 1.8 m cable to increase reach from wall sockets. With seven AC outlets, it reduces the need for multiple adapters and allows several appliances, chargers or electronic devices to be powered simultaneously. The IP44 protection class enhances safety by reducing the risk of ingress from splashes and solid objects, while the straightforward design supports easy placement on floors, desks or mounting near workspaces.

Suitable for

• Powering multiple desktop peripherals and chargers in home offices
• Connecting kitchen appliances and small devices where splash protection is required
• Temporary setups in workshops, utility rooms or hobby areas

How to use

Plug the power extension into a suitable mains socket and position the unit so the cable is not stretched or kinked. Insert appliance plugs fully into the AC outlets and ensure the connected devices do not exceed the maximum current rating of the household circuit. Keep the extension on a stable, dry surface and avoid placing heavy objects on the cable or housing. If mounting is required, use appropriate fixtures and follow local electrical safety practices.

Recommendations

Do not use the extension outdoors or immerse it in water. Avoid overloading by distributing high-power devices across separate circuits where possible. Regularly inspect the cable and sockets for damage and disconnect the extension before cleaning or if any fault is detected.
