Prolunga Hama "Profi" con contatto di terra, 5 m, bianco

Extension Cable Hama Profi 5m with Earth Contact White is a 5-meter indoor mains extension lead with integrated earth contact designed to provide a safe and reliable connection for household devices. The moulded plug and socket improve strain relief and mechanical resistance, and the cable uses H05VV-F construction with three conductors of 1.5 mm² cross-section. The white design suits domestic interiors and simple installations where a grounded connection is required.

Advantages

The moulded plug and socket deliver better kink protection and higher mechanical durability compared with non-moulded connectors. The integrated earth contact increases safety for appliances that require grounding. The H05VV-F cable type and 3×1.5 mm² conductor size balance flexibility and current-carrying capacity for typical household loads. Child-proof features reduce the risk of accidental contact with live parts.

Suitable for

• Connecting household appliances and small power tools indoors
• Temporary power supply for lamps, chargers and electronic devices
• Use in living rooms, kitchens and workshops where a grounded outlet is needed

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Product colour: White
• Cable type: H05VV-F
• Conductors: 3 × 1.5 mm²
• Moulded plug and socket with earth contact
• Child-proof design

How to use

Unroll the extension cable fully before use and connect the moulded plug to a suitable earthed mains socket. Insert the appliance plug into the socket with earth contact. Avoid using the cable in wet or outdoor locations unless the product specification explicitly permits it. Do not overload the extension cable: check the power rating of connected devices and ensure the combined load stays within safe limits for 1.5 mm² conductors.

Recommendations

Inspect the cable regularly for damage, kinks or exposed conductors. Replace the extension cable if the insulation or connectors show wear. Avoid running the cable under carpets or through doorways where it can be crushed or damaged.
