Prolunga PSSO 16A CEE 5x2,5 mm² 5 m nero Edition

PSSO Extension Cable 16A CEE 5x2.5 mm² 5 m Black Edition is a heavy-duty power extension designed to deliver a stable 16A supply for CEE-compatible equipment and temporary installations. The cable features five 2.5 mm² conductors in a robust black outer sheath that resists mechanical wear and is suitable for repeated deployment on construction sites, workshops, event setups and domestic projects where a reliable mains connection is required.

Advantages

The extension cable combines a standardized 16A CEE connection with five 2.5 mm² conductors to support single-phase and three-phase loads with protective earth. Its durable black sheathing enhances abrasion and weather resistance, while the flexible conductor construction allows easier handling and routing in confined spaces. The 5 m length provides a balance between reach and manageable coil size for storage and transport.

How to use

Connect the cable to a matching 16A CEE supply outlet and ensure the coupling is fully engaged and locked according to the connector design. Route the cable to avoid sharp edges, high foot-traffic pinch points and sources of excessive heat. Verify that the connected equipment is compatible with a 16A supply and that protective devices (RCD/MCB) on the supply circuit are in place and operational before powering up.

Recommendations

Inspect the cable and connectors for visible damage before each use. Do not use the extension if the outer sheath or insulation is cut, cracked, or if the connector housing is damaged. Store the cable coiled without tight bends and protect from prolonged UV exposure and chemicals. For outdoor or wet environments, use only where the connector and supply provide appropriate ingress protection and residual-current protection.
