Prolunga PSSO 30245709 3x1,5 mm² 20 m nero

PSSO extension cable 3x1.5 mm² 20 m in black is a flexible power extension designed to extend mains and device connections safely over longer distances. The cable contains three insulated conductors with a cross-section of 1.5 mm² each, enclosed in a durable outer sheath suitable for indoor and protected outdoor use. It supports reliable power transmission for lighting, household appliances and portable tools where an extension lead with moderate current capacity and flexibility is required.

Advantages

The cable offers a balance of flexibility and mechanical protection thanks to its multi-core construction and resilient outer jacket. Its 20 m length reduces the need for multiple shorter extensions and allows convenient placement of devices at a distance from power sources. Insulated conductors and a protective sheath provide basic resistance against abrasion and environmental exposure when used as intended. The three-core layout allows connection of live, neutral and earth conductors for safe operation of earthed appliances.

How to use

Before use, inspect the cable for any visible damage to the outer sheath or conductor insulation. Route the cable to avoid sharp edges, pinch points and heat sources. Connect the conductors to compatible plugs, sockets or terminal blocks, ensuring correct identification of live, neutral and earth connections according to local wiring standards. Do not overload the cable beyond the permissible current for 1.5 mm² conductors and avoid permanent burial or exposure to direct rain without additional protection. Disconnect and store the cable in a dry place when not in use.

Recommendations

For safe and reliable operation, select a plug and socket rated for the expected load, avoid daisy-chaining multiple extension cables, and limit use to applications consistent with indoor or sheltered outdoor environments. If higher current capacity, permanent outdoor installation or specific regulatory compliance is required, choose a cable with appropriate ratings and seek a qualified electrician for installation.
