Prolunga PSSO 30245754 3x2,5 mm 5 m nero

Extension Cable PSSO 30245754 3x2.5 mm 5 m Black is a flexible three-core power extension designed for extending existing power supply lines in domestic and light commercial installations. The cable features three conductors with a 2.5 mm² cross-section and a five-metre overall length in a black outer sheath, intended for use where a 3-core 2.5 mm² conductor is required for fixed appliances, lighting circuits or general-purpose power distribution.

Advantages

The cable provides a straightforward solution for extending electrical runs without changing existing terminations. With 2.5 mm² conductors it supports common circuit currents used for lighting and many appliance connections while maintaining mechanical flexibility for easier routing. The black outer sheath offers discreet integration into visible installations and some resistance to mechanical wear typical for indoor and sheltered applications.

How to use

Before installation, verify that the conductor size and length meet local electrical codes and the requirements of the circuit. Cut to the required length and prepare cable ends by stripping the outer sheath and insulating layers to expose conductors for termination. Use appropriate connectors, terminals or junction boxes rated for 2.5 mm² conductors and tighten to the manufacturer's torque recommendations. Ensure correct identification of live, neutral and earth conductors and make secure, compliant connections. After installation, test the circuit for continuity, insulation resistance and correct polarity where applicable.

Recommendations

Use this three-core 2.5 mm² extension cable for indoor or sheltered applications where a flexible extension of power or lighting circuits is required. Do not use the cable in direct outdoor exposure, buried without proper protection, or in areas where mechanical damage, chemicals or high temperatures may occur. Follow local electrical regulations and, when in doubt, consult a qualified electrician for installation and compliance checks.
