Prolunga USB-C Manhattan 50 cm connettore maschio a femmina

The Manhattan SuperSpeed+ USB-C Extension Cable (0.5 m, male to female) extends access to a USB Type-C port and preserves the original connector by reducing wear. It supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps and charging currents up to 5 A (100 W). The cable has nickel-plated contacts, magnetic shielding and fully moulded boots with strain relief for reliable connections and reduced electromagnetic interference.

Advantages

This 50 cm USB-C extension cable provides a simple way to lengthen a USB-C connection without replacing the original cable or device port. It supports high-speed data transfer and high-current charging, offers durable nickel-plated contacts and shielding to minimise signal loss and interference, and includes strain-relief moulded boots to improve mechanical durability.

Suitable for

• Extending the reach of USB-C cables for laptops, tablets and smartphones
• Reducing wear on device USB-C ports by using the extension as a sacrificial connector
• Connecting USB-C peripherals where port access is difficult or recessed
• Fast data transfer between USB-C devices supporting up to 10 Gbps

Key specifications

• Length: 0.5 m
• Connector A: USB-C (male)
• Connector B: USB-C (female)
• USB version: USB 3.2 Gen 2 (up to 10 Gbps)
• Maximum current/charging: 5 A (up to 100 W)
• Colour: Black
• Contacts: Nickel-plated

How to use

Plug the male USB-C end of the extension cable into an existing USB-C cable or device port, then connect your USB-C device to the female end. Ensure connectors are fully inserted to maintain data integrity and charging performance. Use the extension to create easier access to recessed ports or to position devices without straining the original cable.

Recommendations

For best results, use with USB-C cables and devices that support USB 3.2 Gen 2 to achieve full 10 Gbps transfer speeds. When charging at high currents (near 5 A), use compatible chargers and cables rated for the required power. Avoid excessive bending near connector ends to prolong cable life.
