Prolunga USB ProXtend USB2AAF-0005 – 5 m, connettore maschio USB-A a connettore femmina USB-A, nero

ProXtend USB2AAF-0005 is a 5 metre USB extension cable with a USB-A male connector on one end and a USB-A female connector on the other. The black cable increases the usable reach of existing USB-A devices and peripherals so you can place printers, keyboards, mice and other equipment further from the host computer without relocating the host or using additional adapters.

Advantages

The cable offers a simple plug-and-play extension of standard USB-A ports without requiring drivers or software. A 5 m length provides extra flexibility for device placement in both home and office environments while the USB-A male to female connection maintains compatibility with a wide range of legacy and current USB-A peripherals. The black jacket resists dirt and blends into most workspaces.

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Connector A: USB-A male
• Connector B: USB-A female
• Colour: black
• Data interface: USB 2.0 compatible
• Usage: extension cable for USB-A peripherals

How to use

Connect the USB-A male end of the extension cable to the host computer or an existing USB port, then plug the peripheral device's USB-A plug into the female end. The cable functions as a passive extension; it does not require configuration. For stable connections avoid sharp bends and secure the cable to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Use this USB-A extension cable for low- to moderate-bandwidth USB devices such as keyboards, mice, printers and scanners. For high-power devices or where full-speed USB 3.x performance is required, consider a cable or solution explicitly rated for that specification. Keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources to reduce the risk of interference.
