Prolunga USB Renkforce 1365378 connettore maschio USB-A su connettore femmina A, USB 2.0, 5V, passivo

The Renkforce USB extension cable model 1365378 is a passive USB A male to A female lead designed to extend the reach of USB 2.0 peripherals. It supports standard 5 V USB power and USB 2.0 data transfer rates, preserving the original protocol and signal characteristics of connected devices. The cable is intended for short, reliable extensions in home and office environments where a direct, no-driver connection is required.

Advantages

This passive USB extension cable maintains USB 2.0 compatibility while providing additional length for keyboards, mice, printers and storage devices without altering data protocols or requiring additional configuration. Its A male to A female connector pair offers plug-and-play installation and preserves the supplied 5 V power for typical low-power peripherals. The cable's simple design reduces points of failure and avoids introducing active electronics that could complicate compatibility.

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB A male to USB A female
• USB standard: USB 2.0
• Power rating: 5 V (standard USB bus power)
• Function: Passive extension, no active electronics
• Intended use: Data and power extension for USB 2.0 devices

How to use

Connect the USB A male plug of the extension cable into the host device or upstream USB hub, then insert the peripheral's USB A male connector into the female end of the extension. Ensure connectors are fully seated to maintain reliable data transfer and power delivery. Use the cable only within typical USB 2.0 distance limits and avoid placing heavy strain on the connectors. No drivers or configuration changes are required for standard USB devices.

Recommendations

For best results, use the extension for low- to moderate-power USB devices such as keyboards, mice, printers and flash drives. Avoid using the cable with high-current devices or where powered USB hubs or active extensions are recommended. Keep the cable length modest to preserve signal integrity and place devices on a stable surface to prevent connector strain.
