Prolunga USB ShiverPeaks 77120 connettore maschio A a connettore femmina A USB 2.0 1,0 m

ShiverPeaks 77120 is a 1.0 m USB extension cable with a USB A male to A female connector designed for extending existing USB connections. Compatible with USB 2.0, this cable maintains data transfer compatibility for peripherals such as keyboards, mice, printers and external storage devices while providing extra reach for desktop and home office arrangements.

Advantages

The cable offers a straightforward solution to extend USB A connections without changing device settings or drivers. Its USB 2.0 support preserves data transfer rates typical for the standard and ensures plug-and-play operation with a wide range of devices. The 1.0 m length provides a balance between reach and cable management in small workspaces.

Suitable for

• Extending connection for keyboards and mice
• Connecting printers and scanners located further from the computer
• Extending reach for external hard drives and USB flash drives
• Temporary or semi-permanent cable routing in home offices and desktop setups

Key specifications

• Connector types: USB A male to USB A female
• USB standard: USB 2.0 compatible
• Cable length: 1.0 m
• Primary use: data connection and extension for peripheral devices
• Compatibility: standard USB A devices supporting USB 2.0 and backward-compatible USB 1.x devices

How to use

Insert the USB A male connector into an available USB A port on your computer or hub. Connect the peripheral’s USB A plug into the cable’s female end. The cable functions immediately with plug-and-play devices; if a device requires drivers, ensure they are installed on the host system. Avoid forcing connectors—align the plugs and insert gently to prevent damage.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, keep total cable length and chained extensions within USB 2.0 practical limits and avoid excessive bending near the connectors. Route the cable to minimize interference from power cords and heavy electrical equipment. If you require longer runs or active signal boosting, consider an active USB extension or a hub with its own power supply.
