Prolunga USB ShiverPeaks 77123-WF — High Speed USB 2.0, nucleo in ferrite, connettore maschio su connettore femmina

ShiverPeaks 77123-WF is a high speed USB 2.0 extension cable designed to extend USB A-to-A connections between host devices and peripherals. The cable features a male (A plug) to female (A socket) configuration and includes a ferrite choke to help reduce electromagnetic interference, preserving signal integrity over the extended length. With gold-plated contacts and a 3.0 m cable length, it is intended for situations that require additional reach without changing device ports or adapters.

Advantages

The cable supports USB 2.0 data rates, offers improved EMI suppression thanks to the ferrite connector, and uses gold-plated contacts to maintain consistent electrical contact and resist corrosion. Its plug-and-play design requires no drivers, and the 3.0 m length provides extra reach while maintaining a slim, flexible profile suitable for desktop and office environments.

Suitable for

• Extending connections to printers and multifunction devices
• Increasing cable length for external hard drives and flash drives
• Adding reach for keyboards, mice and other USB peripherals
• Temporary or permanent workstation rearrangements where port access is limited

Key specifications

• Interface: USB Type A male to USB Type A female
• Standard: USB 2.0 High Speed compatible
• Cable length: 3.0 m
• Connector finish: gold-plated contacts
• EMI suppression: integrated ferrite choke
• Color: white

How to use

Connect the male A plug of the extension cable to the host device or existing USB cable, then attach the peripheral to the female A socket. The cable operates as a passive extension and supports existing USB 2.0 device drivers and power delivery within USB 2.0 limits. Avoid excessive bending near the connectors and secure connections to maintain signal quality. For best results, connect devices directly without additional passive adapters where possible.

Recommendations

Use this cable when you need additional length while preserving USB 2.0 data performance and when EMI reduction is beneficial. Do not assume USB 3.x transfer rates or increased power delivery beyond USB 2.0 specifications; avoid daisy-chaining multiple passive extensions to prevent signal degradation.
