Promise VTrak D5800xD 4-Port 10GSFP+ Dual-Controller (solo case) F29VD5820000004

The Promise VTrak D5800xD stands apart with its dual active-active controllers and eight 10GbE SFP+ ports, delivering high-availability block storage for virtualized and data-intensive environments. This 3U rackmount chassis houses sixteen hot-swappable 3.5-inch drive bays, ready for SAS, SATA, or SSD media, and scales far beyond its own capacity through four 6Gb/s SAS expansion ports.

Highlights

• Dual hot-swappable controllers with 16 GB total cache (8 GB per controller) ensure continuous operation.
• Eight 10GbE SFP+ host ports (four per controller) provide redundant, high-speed iSCSI connectivity.
• Supports RAID levels 0, 1, 1E, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60 for flexible data protection.
• Expandable up to 1.6 PB raw capacity by attaching up to ten VTrak J5000 series JBODs.
• Redundant, hot-swappable power supplies and cooling modules keep the system running without interruption.

In daily use

Deploy the D5800xD as shared storage for VMware, Windows Server, Linux, or Citrix environments. The WebPAM PROe management interface, CLI, and SNMP support simplify monitoring and configuration. With dual controllers and redundant components, the system is built for workloads that cannot tolerate downtime.
