Punta elicoidale per calcestruzzo Makita E-24876, diametro 18 mm, lunghezza 450 mm

Makita E-24876 is an 18 mm diameter, 450 mm long spiral concrete drill designed for drilling deep holes in concrete and masonry. The spiral flute geometry helps evacuate dust and debris from the bore during drilling to preserve cutting speed and maintain drilling accuracy. The bit is intended for use with percussion and rotary drills that accept compatible chucks and is suitable for tradespeople who require dependable deep-drilling performance in building and installation work.

Advantages

The spiral design provides continuous debris removal, reducing clogging and sustaining drilling efficiency over long depths. A long 450 mm working length enables drilling through thick elements and deep installations without changing to extension accessories. An 18 mm diameter offers a balance between clearing capacity and material retention for anchor bolts, conduit passages and other common construction penetrations. The bit is compatible with standard hammer and rotary drilling methods when used with appropriate drill chucks.

Suitable for

• Drilling deep holes for anchors and dowels in concrete and masonry
• Creating passages for electrical conduit and plumbing runs
• Core-like through-drilling for installation and retrofitting tasks

Key specifications

• Diameter: 18 mm
• Overall length: 450 mm
• Spiral flute geometry for debris evacuation
• Intended for use in concrete and masonry materials
• Suitable for percussion (hammer) and rotary drilling methods with compatible chucks

How to use

Install the Makita E-24876 bit securely in a compatible drill chuck, ensuring correct seating and clamping. Select the appropriate drilling mode on the drill — percussion mode for harder concrete, rotary mode where impact is not required. Start drilling at low speed to establish the position, then apply steady pressure and increase speed as the bit engages the material. Periodically withdraw the bit to clear accumulated dust from the flute if progress slows or to prevent overheating. Maintain firm, controlled pressure; avoid excessive lateral forces that can damage the bit or the drill chuck.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glasses, dust mask, hearing protection and gloves). For long, deep holes, withdraw frequently to clear debris and allow cooling. Match the drill and chuck capacity to the 18 mm shank and use lubricants or water only when suitable for your drill type and the work environment. Inspect the bit before use and replace if visibly worn or damaged.
