Raccordo per tubo dell'acqua Gardena 7106-20

The Gardena 7106-20 water hose fitting is a brass coupling designed for reliable hose connections in garden watering systems. With a nominal diameter of 1.2 cm, this fitting provides a tight connection between standard garden hoses and accessories, helping to minimize leaks and maintain consistent water flow. Its corrosion-resistant material and simple geometry make it suitable for regular outdoor use and straightforward installation.

Advantages

This brass fitting offers mechanical strength and corrosion resistance compared with many plastic alternatives, delivering long-term durability for outdoor watering tasks. Its precise diameter enables secure, low-leak connections with common garden hoses, while the compact design keeps the coupling lightweight and easy to handle. The material and finish also reduce the risk of deformation under typical water pressure, ensuring consistent performance over time.

Suitable for

• Connecting standard garden hoses to spray nozzles, sprinklers or other watering accessories
• Repairing or replacing worn hose couplings in home garden irrigation
• Temporary or permanent hose extensions where a secure brass connection is required

Key specifications

• Material: brass
• Nominal diameter: 1.2 cm
• Application: garden hose coupling for watering systems
• Finish: corrosion-resistant surface
• Weight: compact, lightweight coupling suitable for hand installation

How to use

To install the fitting, slide the hose end fully over the coupling’s barrel and secure it according to the hose type—use a hose clamp for flexible or cut-edge hoses or the manufacturer-recommended connector method for reinforced hoses. Ensure the connection is seated straight to avoid kinking. After tightening, run water at low pressure to check for leaks, then increase to normal operating pressure and recheck the joint. For disassembly, depressurize the hose, drain remaining water and loosen the clamp or coupling before removing the hose.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, inspect the coupling periodically for signs of wear or corrosion, especially after freezing temperatures or prolonged outdoor exposure. Use compatible hose clamps sized to the hose wall thickness to achieve a secure seal. Avoid overtightening metal-to-metal connections to prevent thread or fitting damage.
