Install 19" equipment using standard mounting rails and ensure load is distributed evenly across the vertical posts. Secure heavy items at lower U positions to maintain stability. Route power and network cabling through available openings and cable management points to maintain airflow and accessibility. Verify that the rack’s IP20 rating and the room environment meet site safety and ventilation requirements before powering installed equipment.

Recommendations

For stable, long-term operation, mount heavier devices lower in the rack, leave clearance for front and rear airflow, and avoid overloading beyond the specified 1200 kg limit. Use appropriate grounding and follow local installation standards when integrating servers, switches and PDUs into the rack.
