Rack a sé stante EFB Elektronik PRO-2468GR.G1SV

The EFB Elektronik PRO-2468GR.G1SV is a freestanding 24U rack designed for organised indoor equipment storage. Built to accommodate standard 19" devices, the rack combines a compact footprint with a high load capability, offering a reliable platform for servers, switches, patch panels and other rack-mounted hardware. Finished in grey with an IP20 protection rating, it is intended for office, server room and telecommunications environments where robust, static support and neat cable management are required.

Advantages

The rack supports up to 1000 kg of distributed load, providing strong mechanical stability for dense equipment setups. Its 24U capacity and standard 19" mounting profile allow flexible arrangement of networking and computing components. The 600 mm width and 800 mm depth balance space efficiency with internal clearance for cabling and airflow. An IP20 rating confirms suitability for indoor installation in dust-controlled environments. The neutral grey finish integrates with most technical and office interiors.

Suitable for

• Small to medium server rooms and IT closets
• Network distribution for offices and branch locations
• Patch panels, switches and small rackmount UPS systems
• Audio-visual equipment racks in controlled indoor spaces

How to use

Place the freestanding rack on a level, stable surface and ensure adequate clearance around all sides for ventilation and cable access. Install 19" equipment by aligning mounting rails and securing devices with appropriate rack screws and cage nuts; observe weight distribution guidelines and mount heavier items toward the bottom to maintain stability. Route power and network cabling through available openings, keeping power and data cables separated where possible to minimise interference. Verify that the total mounted equipment weight does not exceed the specified distributed load capacity.

Recommendations

For safe and long-term operation, position heavier units at lower rack units, use proper rail support for heavy rails or shelves, and maintain a clean indoor environment to meet the IP20 rating. If additional airflow or dust protection is required, consider complementary accessories such as vented doors, fan trays or filtered panels designed for 24U racks.
