The DIGITUS Unique Series wall mounted rack DN-19 12U-6/6 is a 12U network cabinet designed for indoor IT infrastructure. Constructed from up to 1.5 mm thick sheet steel and finished with electrostatic powder coating in grey (RAL 7035), the 600 x 600 mm cabinet provides secure wall mounting for networking equipment with a maximum load capacity of 100 kg and an IP20 protection rating.

Advantages

The cabinet features a robust steel construction, a lockable safety-glass front door with steel frame, and removable lockable side panels for easy access. Inside are two pairs of galvanized 483 mm (19") profile rails with rack-unit markings readable in both directions and adjustable depth. Cable management is facilitated by a sliding cable inlet with foam rubber seal in the roof, pre-cut cable inlets in the back wall and floor plate with plastic covers, and a pre-cut area in the roof for a fan module. Door hinges can be switched to change opening direction.

How to use

Mount the cabinet on a suitable load-bearing wall by first bolting the housing frame plate to the wall and then attaching the cabinet housing to the frame. Install equipment on the adjustable 19" profile rails, aligning rack units using the printed markings. Route cabling through the sealed roof inlet or the pre-cut rear and floor inlets; install a fan module in the pre-cut roof area if additional ventilation is required. Side panels and front door can be removed or locked as needed for maintenance and access. If a free-standing setup is preferred, fit optionally available levelling feet or casters.

Recommendations

Use the cabinet indoors in environments matching IP20 protection. Ensure wall mounting is performed on a structurally sound surface and distributed load does not exceed the 100 kg limit. Keep ventilation clear if installing active equipment and consider a fan in the pre-cut roof area for higher heat loads.
