Rack per laptop Omnitronic ELR-12/17 12U 17" per il montaggio di laptop e dispositivi compatti

Omnitronic ELR-12/17 is a 12U rack shelf designed to securely hold laptops and compact devices up to 17 inches inside a standard 19-inch rack enclosure. The shelf provides a flat, stable surface that helps organize equipment in studio, broadcast, live sound and IT environments while keeping devices accessible and protected. Built for compatibility with common rack systems, this rack shelf simplifies integration of a laptop into a professional equipment rack.

Advantages

The Omnitronic ELR-12/17 offers a space-efficient solution for mounting laptops in a 19-inch rack, minimizing desktop clutter and reducing the risk of accidental knocks or cable strain. Its 12U height leaves room for additional rack-mounted gear above or below the laptop shelf, and the shelf is made to accept most laptops up to 17 inches while allowing ventilation and cable access. Installation is straightforward and compatible with standard rack rails.

How to use

Mount the Omnitronic ELR-12/17 onto the front rack rails of a 19-inch enclosure at the desired height, ensuring it occupies 12U of rack space. Secure the shelf with appropriate rack screws and washers. Place the laptop or compact device on the shelf, route power and signal cables through the rack openings to prevent strain, and ensure adequate ventilation around the device. Check that the shelf is level and firmly fastened before leaving equipment in place.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, use standard rack hardware for mounting and avoid overloading the shelf beyond the weight of typical 17-inch laptops. Allow clearance for airflow and cable routing, and position heavier equipment below the shelf when possible to maintain rack stability.
