How to use

Prepare the server rack by selecting an appropriate U position and verifying clearance for cables and ventilation. Attach the provided brackets to the SonicWall appliance following the bracket alignment so that front ports and indicators remain accessible. Secure the bracketed appliance to the rack rails using the included fittings, ensuring the unit is level and firmly seated. Route network and power cables to minimize stress on connectors and maintain airflow around the appliance. Tighten fittings as needed and verify rack stability before powering the device.

Recommendations

Install the rackmount kit in a rack position that allows sufficient ventilation around the SonicWall appliance and leaves room for cable management. Confirm that rack rail depth and available U space match the appliance plus bracket depth. Use proper grounding and follow rack safety practices when installing to prevent damage to the device and ensure reliable operation.
