The TechniSat DIGITRADIO UP 1 is a compact, wall-mounted radio designed for installation in a standard double flush-mounted socket. It supports digital DAB+ and conventional FM reception and offers Bluetooth 2.1+EDR streaming, a 1.7-inch (4.32 cm) blue-backlit LCD and a splash-proof housing suitable for humid rooms such as bathrooms. The unit combines radio, speaker and light-switch functionality in a single, space-saving device with a black finish and an RMS output of 2 W.

Recommendations

Place the unit where it is protected from direct water jets; although splash-proof, it is not rated for full immersion. For optimum DAB+ reception, avoid metal enclosures and position the unit where antenna reception is available. For installations involving mains wiring or light-switch integration, consult a qualified electrician.
