Rastrello in metallo Gardena 3179

The Gardena 3179 Metal Rake is a single-piece garden rake with robust metal teeth and a 410 mm working width. Designed for general garden maintenance, it provides efficient collection of leaves, grass clippings and light debris across lawns and beds. The tool balances strength and simplicity, offering straightforward operation for regular outdoor tasks.

Advantages

The metal tines deliver effective penetration into compacted leaf layers and provide durable performance under repeated use. The 410 mm width covers a practical working swath, reducing the number of passes required to clear an area. Its one-piece construction minimizes points of failure and simplifies handling and storage. The design supports consistent raking with reduced bending and effort compared to narrower rakes.

Suitable for

• Collecting fallen leaves and garden debris on lawns and borders
• Gathering grass clippings after mowing
• Loosening light thatch and smoothing soil surface

Key specifications

• Working width: 410 mm
• Tine material: metal
• Construction: single-piece rake head
• Intended use: manual garden raking for leaves, debris and light thatch

How to use

Attach the rake head to a compatible handle if required, then hold the handle at a comfortable height and use smooth, even strokes to gather leaves and debris into manageable piles. Work across the area in overlapping passes to avoid missing material. For heavier accumulations, apply slightly firmer pressure to allow the metal tines to penetrate compacted layers, then lift and deposit the collected material into a garden bag or compost heap.

Recommendations

Wear gloves to protect your hands while raking and inspect the tines periodically for bending or damage. Store the rake in a dry place to reduce corrosion on metal parts. Use the rake for appropriate tasks—avoid prying or levering heavy objects to maintain tine alignment and prolong service life.
