Precision-engineered high-conductivity wire delivers uniform electrostatic charge to the photoconductive drum, ensuring crisp, streak-free output on every page. This genuine Ricoh OEM component restores peak performance in Aficio 1060/1075/2060/2075, MP 6000/7000/8000, MP 6001/7001/8001/9001, and MP 6002/7502/9002 series copiers and MFPs.

Overview

The charge corona wire is a critical element of the imaging unit, responsible for applying a consistent negative charge to the drum surface before laser exposure. Over time, wires can become worn, corroded, or broken, leading to print defects such as background fog, uneven density, or blank bands. This replacement wire is manufactured to Ricoh's exact specifications, guaranteeing dimensional accuracy and electrical properties that match the original part. Installation is straightforward for qualified service technicians, and the wire is packaged individually to prevent damage during transit.
