Rilevatore di acqua Sensmitter Hama 00176668 senza fili batteria AAA bianco

The HAMA Sensmitter water detector is a compact wireless sensor that detects the presence of water and signals potential leaks. Powered by AAA batteries, the device is designed for easy placement near appliances, pipes, basements or other locations at risk of water ingress. Its low-profile white housing and simple wireless operation enable unobtrusive, flexible positioning to help reduce the risk of water damage.

Advantages

The detector operates on standard AAA batteries, allowing quick replacement and long-term operation without wired power. Wireless connectivity removes the need for cables and simplifies installation in tight or remote spots. The compact, lightweight housing is suitable for discreet placement and can be positioned close to the floor or around vulnerable plumbing. The sensor provides reliable detection of liquid contact to trigger alerts promptly.

Suitable for

• Monitoring under sinks, behind washing machines and dishwashers
• Basement and cellar leak detection
• Protecting boiler rooms and water heaters
• Placement near water pipes and drainage points

Key specifications

• Power source: AAA batteries (replaceable)
• Wireless operation for flexible placement
• Compact dimensions and lightweight design for easy installation
• White housing suitable for unobtrusive indoor use
• Contact-based water sensing for immediate leak detection

How to use

Place the sensor on a dry, flat surface close to the area you want to monitor, such as directly beside pipes, appliances or drainage points. Insert fresh AAA batteries following the polarity markings, then pair the unit with the corresponding receiver or monitoring system if required. Ensure the sensing contacts are positioned where water would first appear; avoid placing the device in areas where it may be exposed to continuous splashing unless intended. Test the detector after installation by momentarily contacting the sensor pads with a small amount of water to confirm correct operation and alert signaling.

Recommendations

Replace batteries at regular intervals and after low-battery alerts to maintain reliable detection. Keep the sensor clean and free from debris that could interfere with the sensing contacts. Install the device on a stable surface and check pairing and signal reception periodically. Avoid exposing the housing to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures to preserve functionality.
