Rilevatore di movimento esterno PIR SATEL OPAL PRO GY grigio, doppio elemento, protezione antimanomissione, resistente alle intemperie

The SATEL OPAL PRO GY outdoor dual motion sensor is a grey passive infrared (PIR) detector designed for reliable exterior intrusion detection. The dual-element sensing improves immunity to common sources of false alarms, while the weather-resistant housing and built-in tamper protection make the unit suitable for continuous perimeter, garden or entryway monitoring. The detector integrates with SATEL alarm systems and provides a compact, discreet option for outdoor motion detection.

Advantages

The dual-element PIR module enhances detection accuracy by comparing signals from two sensing elements, reducing false alarms caused by small animals or environmental changes. The weather-resistant enclosure protects internal electronics from moisture and dust, enabling stable operation in outdoor conditions. Integrated tamper protection alerts the security system to attempts at removal or sabotage. The sensor’s compact grey housing allows unobtrusive installation near walls, gates or eaves.

Suitable for

• Perimeter protection around residential or commercial properties
• Garden and yard monitoring
• Entryway, gate and driveway surveillance
• Integration with SATEL alarm control panels for outdoor zones

Key specifications

• Detection technology: dual-element passive infrared (PIR)
• Environmental protection: weather-resistant housing suitable for outdoor use
• Protection features: built-in tamper detection
• Mounting: wall or corner mounting options for perimeter coverage
• Appearance: grey, compact enclosure for discreet placement

How to use

Install the OPAL PRO GY at a recommended height and orientation to cover the intended perimeter or entry route, avoiding direct exposure to heat sources, reflective surfaces or moving vegetation that could trigger false alarms. Connect the sensor to the alarm system following the manufacturer’s wiring and configuration guidelines. Configure detection zones and sensitivity according to the installation environment and test the detector to confirm consistent detection of human movement while minimising unwanted triggers.

Recommendations

Place the sensor where its field of view is unobstructed and where nearby landscaping or heating vents are unlikely to cause sudden temperature changes in the detection area. Regularly inspect the housing for debris and verify tamper contacts and electrical connections during scheduled maintenance. Adjust sensitivity and detection pattern during commissioning to balance reliable intrusion detection with false-alarm reduction.
