How to use

Connect the IN port of the POR-0202 to a PoE-Plus port on a PSE such as a PoE switch using standard Ethernet cabling. Plug the PDs (for example, IP cameras or other Fast Ethernet PoE devices) into the OUT ports. Each POR-0202 extends the PoE connection by up to 100 meters beyond the initial 100-meter cable run; multiple repeaters can be daisy-chained to achieve longer distances. Ensure the upstream PSE can supply sufficient wattage for all downstream PDs, as maximum reach depends on the required power of connected devices.

Recommendations

Verify the total power budget of your PoE-Plus switch and plan cabling and repeater placement accordingly. For devices with high wattage demands, limit the number of chained repeaters or use higher-capacity PSE to ensure reliable operation.
