Rivetto cieco GESIPA 6310923 acciaio/acciaio 5×10 mm testa piatta per 4,0–6,0 mm

Blind rivet GESIPA 6310923 is a steel/steel flat head rivet sized 5×10 mm designed for blind fastening applications where access is possible only from one side. It is intended for permanent mechanical joining of sheet metal, profiles and assembled parts. The rivet accommodates material thicknesses from 4.0 to 6.0 mm and is suitable for use in construction, HVAC systems and general metalworking tasks requiring a flush or low-profile head on the accessible side.

Advantages

The steel body and steel mandrel provide reliable shear and tensile strength, while the flat head offers a low-profile appearance and even load distribution across the joint. Blind rivet installation does not require access to the rear of the workpiece, simplifying assembly in confined spaces. The specified size and grip range ensure consistent, repeatable performance when used within the recommended material thickness.

Suitable for

• Joining sheet metal panels and enclosures
• Fastening profiles and brackets in HVAC installations
• Assembling frames and structural subcomponents where backside access is limited
• General metal fabrication and repair work

Key specifications

• Material: steel body with steel mandrel
• Head type: flat head
• Rivet dimensions: 5 × 10 mm
• Suitable material thickness (grip range): 4.0–6.0 mm
• Application: blind (one-sided) fastening

How to use

Select an appropriately sized drill or punch to make the installation hole, ensuring hole diameter matches the rivet diameter. Insert the rivet through the aligned parts, place the mandrel into a compatible blind rivet tool, and actuate the tool according to the manufacturer's instructions until the mandrel snaps and the body forms a secure blind head. Inspect the installed rivet to confirm proper flange compression and that the head sits flush against the workpiece. Replace the rivet tool mandrels or follow maintenance guidance for consistent setting quality.

Recommendations

Use corrosion-appropriate materials for the assembled environment; while steel/steel rivets provide strength, consider surface treatments or alternative materials if the joint will be exposed to dissimilar metals or corrosive conditions. Ensure the workpiece hole size and grip range match the rivet dimensions and thickness to achieve reliable fastening strength.
