Rotolo bordatura aiuole Gardena 530-20

The GARDENA Bed Edging roll (Garden edging roll Gardena 530-20) is a durable garden border made of weather-resistant black plastic. It measures 9 metres in length and 9 cm in height, providing a clear separation between flower beds and lawn while remaining visually unobtrusive thanks to its soil-like colour.

Advantages

The edging creates clean, precise bed edges that improve the visual order of your garden and define the border between lawn and planting areas. It prevents overgrowth and spreading of roots from the lawn into the bed, helping plants remain in their intended area. The material is weather-resistant and long-lasting, and the flexible roll can be shaped to follow curves or straight lines as required.

Suitable for

• Separating lawn from flower beds and borders
• Preventing grass and root encroachment into planting areas
• Creating clear edges for paths, beds and decorative planting

How to use

Unroll the edging along the desired border and position it so the top edge is level with the ground or at the preferred height. Shape the flexible roll to follow curves or straight lines and press or fix it into the soil according to local installation conditions (e.g., using stakes or by partially embedding the edging). Ensure the edging is continuous along the border to prevent root and grass penetration.

Recommendations

For best results, prepare a shallow trench to seat the edging if permanent fixation is required, and overlap or connect sections securely when using multiple rolls. Regularly check fixation points after frost or heavy rain to maintain a continuous barrier.
