How to use

Place the tabletop router in a central location for best coverage, connect your modem to the router WAN port, and power the device. Use the NETGEAR setup assistant via web browser or the recommended mobile app to complete initial configuration, including setting the SSID and Wi‑Fi password. Connect client devices to the appropriate SSID (2.4 GHz for longer range, 5 GHz bands for higher throughput) or use wired Gigabit Ethernet connections for devices that require stable bandwidth.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep router firmware up to date, position the unit away from large metal objects and other electronics that may cause interference, and place high‑bandwidth devices on the 5 GHz bands. Use WPA2/WPA3 security where available and enable guest network access for visitors to isolate them from your main network.
