Router Hikvision DS-3WG105G-SI 5 porte Gigabit Ethernet

Hikvision DS-3WG105G-SI 5-port Gigabit Ethernet router is a compact wired networking device intended for small offices and home environments. It offers five gigabit LAN/WAN ports to connect multiple wired devices with high throughput and stable links. The router provides basic routing, NAT and DHCP services to integrate IP cameras, workstations and media players into a single local network and maintain reliable internet access for surveillance and everyday network tasks.

Advantages

This router combines five full-rate Gigabit Ethernet ports in a single compact enclosure, enabling straightforward wired connections without additional switches. Its plug-and-play approach simplifies deployment: connect the internet uplink and local devices, and the router handles IP addressing and basic routing automatically. The device prioritizes consistent wired performance for bandwidth-sensitive applications such as video surveillance streams and large file transfers. Low power consumption and a small footprint make it suitable for constrained spaces.

Suitable for

• Small office networks with multiple wired devices
• Home networks requiring reliable wired connections for NAS, media players or PCs
• Surveillance systems where IP cameras need stable, high-bandwidth links
• Environments that need a simple router with DHCP and NAT functions

Key specifications

• Number of ports: five Gigabit Ethernet ports configurable as LAN/WAN
• Data rate: Gigabit (10/100/1000 Mbps) per port
• Routing functions: basic NAT and DHCP support for local network address management
• Form factor: compact desktop enclosure suitable for small equipment racks or shelves
• Power: low-voltage external power adapter (external adapter supplied with device)
• Operating temperature range: designed for typical indoor environments

How to use

Place the router on a stable, ventilated surface near your internet modem and the devices to be connected. Connect the modem or internet uplink to one of the routers WAN-capable ports, then attach PCs, network video recorders or IP cameras to the remaining Gigabit ports using CAT5e or CAT6 cables. Power on the router using the supplied adapter; the device will obtain an IP from the upstream modem or provide local addresses via DHCP. Access the devices basic settings through the networks default gateway to view connection status and adjust DHCP ranges if required.

Recommendations

Use high-quality shielded Ethernet cables (CAT5e or CAT6) for optimal Gigabit performance. Place the router in a well-ventilated indoor location and avoid exposure to moisture or extreme temperatures. For surveillance setups, connect cameras and the network video recorder to the Gigabit ports to minimize packet loss and ensure smooth video recording and playback.
