Router mesh HUAWEI WiFi Mesh X1 Pro dual-band Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be), 2,4/5 GHz, 4 antenne interne, nero

HUAWEI WiFi Mesh X1 Pro is a dual‑band mesh router that supports Wi‑Fi 7 (802.11be) on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz with a combined maximum WLAN throughput of up to 3570 Mbps. Designed for home and small‑office mesh networks, the unit integrates four omni‑directional internal antennas, 512 MB RAM and 128 MB flash to deliver stable wireless performance and improved coverage. The device includes multiple gigabit-class Ethernet ports and typical power consumption of 24 W, making it suitable for continuous everyday use.

Advantages

The router uses Wi‑Fi 7 technology to increase bandwidth and reduce latency for high‑bandwidth activities such as 4K/8K streaming, AR/VR gaming and large file transfers. Cross‑floor mesh antenna design improves vertical signal penetration, increasing Wi‑Fi speeds on adjacent floors. Four high‑performance signal amplifiers and four 2.5 GE wired ports help maintain strong wireless and wired connections across a residence or small office while supporting seamless roaming when multiple mesh nodes are deployed.

Suitable for

• Homes and apartments requiring whole‑house wireless coverage
• Small offices with multiple wired and wireless devices
• High‑bandwidth activities: 4K/8K streaming, online gaming, large file sharing
• Multi‑floor environments where vertical signal penetration is needed

When it may not be suitable

This router is intended primarily for residential and small‑office environments; very large enterprise networks with advanced centralized management requirements may need professional enterprise‑grade solutions. If a network relies exclusively on legacy devices that do not support modern Wi‑Fi standards, full benefits of Wi‑Fi 7 cannot be realised.

Key specifications

• Wi‑Fi standard: Wi‑Fi 7 (802.11be) dual‑band 2.4 GHz / 5 GHz
• Maximum WLAN throughput: up to 3570 Mbps (combined)
• Antennas: 4 internal omni‑directional antennas
• Memory: 512 MB RAM
• Storage (flash): 128 MB
• Ports: multiple wired Ethernet ports including four 2.5 GE ports
• Security: WPA‑PSK, WPA2‑PSK, WPA3‑SAE
• Typical power consumption: 24 W
• Colour: Black

How to use

Place the HUAWEI WiFi Mesh X1 Pro in a central position for best coverage, avoiding large metal objects and dense obstacles where possible. Connect the WAN port to your modem and use the Ethernet ports for high‑priority wired devices. For a whole‑house solution, add additional HUAWEI WiFi Mesh X1 Pro units and enable HUAWEI WiFi Mesh+ so devices automatically switch to the strongest node. Configure wireless settings and security (WPA3‑SAE recommended where supported) through the router’s setup interface or companion app, and apply firmware updates when available.

What to consider before purchase

• Check that your internet service plan and modem support speeds that benefit from Wi‑Fi 7 and 2.5 GE wired ports
• Confirm the number and location of units needed for full coverage in multi‑floor or large homes
• Verify device compatibility with WPA3 if you require the latest security standard
• Ensure physical space and power availability for continuous operation (typical power consumption: 24 W)

Recommendations

For best mesh performance, place nodes on different floors/areas with clear line‑of‑sight where practical, prioritise critical devices on wired 2.5 GE ports, and keep firmware up to date to maintain security and stability.
