How to use

Install the NVMe M.2 SSD into a compatible M.2 PCIe 4.0 slot on your desktop or laptop following the device manufacturer’s instructions. Secure the drive with the mounting screw and enable the slot in BIOS/UEFI if required. For PlayStation 5, refer to Sony’s official installation guide for compatible sizes and thermal requirements. After physical installation, initialize and format the drive in your operating system, then install Samsung Magician to update firmware, monitor drive health and apply performance settings.

Recommendations

For optimal sustained performance, ensure adequate chassis airflow and follow manufacturer guidelines for PlayStation 5 compatible SSD dimensions and cooling. Use Samsung Magician to keep firmware up to date and to monitor drive temperature and health.
