Recommendations

For optimal results, use clean, unfolded paper and avoid feeding heavily creased or damaged sheets. Select 300–600 dpi for a balance of image quality and file size when scanning standard documents; use 600 dpi when higher detail is required for images or fine print. Perform periodic cleaning of the document feed path and glass/contact rollers to maintain consistent image quality and prevent jams.
