Scarpa Furia Air scarpe da arrampicata - ice/red - EU 38.5

The Scarpa Furia Air stands apart in the world of high-performance climbing footwear by combining an ultra-soft, sensitive construction with a highly aggressive, downturned last. Unlike many stiff competition shoes that sacrifice feel for power, the Furia Air delivers precision on steep overhangs and micro-edges while allowing your foot to flex naturally. Its Ice/Red colourway is both striking and functional, making it a favourite among boulderers and sport climbers who demand maximum feedback from the rock.

Highlights

• Extremely soft and sensitive midsole for enhanced proprioception and smearing.
• Aggressive, highly downturned and asymmetric last for powerful toe hooks and precise placements.
• Vibram XS Grip 2 sole (3.5 mm) offers superior friction on volumes and polished footholds.
• SRT (Surround Rubber Tension) rand system wraps the foot for a secure, tensioned fit.
• Elasticated slipper closure with a snug, performance-oriented fit that is easy to put on and take off.
• Unlined microfiber upper reduces stretch and improves breathability.

In daily use

On steep terrain, the Furia Air truly shines. The minimal Flexan 1.0 mm midsole allows the shoe to conform to the shape of the hold, giving you the sensitivity needed to trust your feet on the smallest chips. The aggressive downturn keeps your weight over your toes, enabling powerful pulls on overhangs and roofs. The SRT rand system maintains tension throughout the shoe, preventing deformation during hard heel hooks and toe cams. The unlined microfiber upper is comfortable against bare skin and dries quickly, while the elasticated slipper design provides a glove-like fit without pressure points. Whether you're projecting a boulder problem or redpointing a steep sport route, the Furia Air gives you the confidence to push your limits.
