Scarpa Instinct VSR LV Scarpette da arrampicata nero/viola EU 39

The Instinct VSR LV takes Scarpa's aggressive Instinct platform and reworks it for climbers with narrower feet who still demand uncompromising performance on steep rock and plastic. Unlike the standard Instinct VSR, the LV (Low Volume) version reduces dead space in the toe box and heel, creating a precision fit that excels on micro-edges and heel hooks without sacrificing the sensitivity and power that made the original a benchmark for modern bouldering.

Highlights

• Low Volume (LV) last for a snug, high-performance fit on narrower feet
• Vibram XS Grip 2 rubber (3.5 mm) delivers exceptional friction and durability
• Bi-Tension active rand system channels power to the toe for maximum edging precision
• Medium-stiff Flexan midsole balances support and sensitivity for all-day projecting
• Aggressive, asymmetrical profile with a pointed toe box for precise foot placements
• Hook-and-loop closure for quick on/off between burns

In daily use

From steep limestone pockets to gym volumes, the Instinct VSR LV provides the confidence to commit to tiny footholds and dynamic heel hooks. The unlined forefoot enhances sensitivity, while the partially lined heel adds structure for secure hooking. The Bi-Tension rand actively pulls power to the toe, reducing foot fatigue on long routes and enabling precise edging on vertical terrain. The low-volume heel cup eliminates slippage, making it a favourite for climbers who struggle with baggy heels in other aggressive shoes.
