Scarpe antinfortunistiche Uvex 85162 unisex adulto nero rosso microvelluto PU

Uvex 1 x-tended support safety shoes combine protection and ergonomic design for industrial and trade use. Constructed with a microvelour upper and a dual-density polyurethane outsole, these shoes are metal-free and available in black and red. They are designed to reduce musculoskeletal strain through an anatomically informed last and a supportive sole structure, while offering breathable, climate-optimised materials and a seam-reduced upper for improved comfort.

Advantages

These S3-rated safety shoes are lightweight and suitable for users with chrome allergies due to their synthetic materials. The shoes include a foamed polyurethane scuffcap to extend upper life at the toe, elastic laces plus conventional laces for quick adjustment, and compatibility with orthopaedic modifications and uvex medicare insoles. The metal-free construction includes an anatomically shaped uvex xenova® toe cap and a non-metallic penetration-resistant insert, while the dual-density polyurethane outsole offers excellent slip resistance and additional medial and lateral heel support to stabilise the foot.

Suitable for

• Industrial and manufacturing workplaces requiring S3 protection
• Work environments with ESD requirements
• Tasks with slip risk due to the SRC-rated outsole
• Workers needing lightweight, supportive footwear for long shifts

How to use

Select the correct size and fit the shoes using the supplied elastic laces for quick adjustment or the normal laces for a firmer fit. Use removable uvex medicare insoles or other orthopaedic inserts if required; ensure any insole modifications do not compromise the shoe’s protective elements. For ESD environments, confirm the flooring and footwear combination meets workplace specifications. Clean the microvelour upper with a soft brush and mild detergent when needed and allow to air dry.

Recommendations

Inspect the shoes regularly for wear to the sole, scuffcap and toe area; replace if penetration resistance or toe-cap integrity is compromised. Use the elastic laces for quick on/off during short tasks and the normal laces when a more secure fit is needed for extended use.
