Scheda interfaccia DeLOCK 90410

The DeLOCK 90410 is a low-profile internal PCIe interface card that provides a single RS-232 serial port for systems that require legacy serial communication. Designed for installation in compact desktop or industrial PCs, the card occupies minimal space while offering basic serial connectivity. Its physical design includes a green PCB and a half-height bracket compatible with small form-factor cases.

Advantages

This PCIe RS-232 card supports standard serial settings and a FIFO buffer to improve data handling during bursts, reducing the chance of data loss. The low-profile form factor and slim dimensions make it suitable for systems with limited expansion space. The card’s support for multiple data bit lengths provides compatibility with a wide range of serial devices and communication protocols.

Key specifications

How to use

Power down the host system and disconnect from mains before installation. Remove the appropriate expansion slot cover, insert the card into an available PCI Express slot, and secure the bracket. Reassemble the system and reconnect power. After booting, install any required drivers provided by the operating system or the device vendor. Connect RS-232 devices using a compatible serial cable and configure serial port parameters (baud rate, parity, stop bits, data bits) to match the peripheral’s settings.

Recommendations

Verify BIOS and operating system compatibility with PCI Express cards before installation. Use shielded serial cables for reliable communication in electrically noisy environments. When deploying in industrial settings, ensure the host enclosure provides adequate grounding and consider surge protection for connected serial devices.
