How to use

Secure the hole saw in a compatible drill or drill press according to the drill manufacturer's instructions. Mark the centre of the desired hole, position the pilot or arbor at the mark, and start drilling at low speed to create a guide. Increase speed moderately and apply steady, even pressure—avoid forcing the tool. Once the cut is complete, withdraw the hole saw and remove the cut material from the teeth and arbor. Follow safety practices such as wearing eye protection and securing the workpiece.

Recommendations

Use the KWB 499000 hole saw with drills that accept the arbor size specified by the tool; for best results in plasterboard and softwood, use moderate speed and controlled pressure. Clear chips regularly and inspect the teeth before use. Do not use on reinforced concrete, masonry or metal.
