Sega per rami a batteria Einhell GE-PS 18/15 Li 18 V Li-ion 2.5 Ah, barra di guida 150 mm

The cordless pruning chainsaw Einhell GE-PS 18/15 Li is a compact battery-powered tool designed for trimming branches and light tree maintenance. Powered by an 18 V lithium-ion battery with 2.5 Ah capacity, the saw features a short 150 mm guide bar and chain optimized for pruning tasks. Its cordless design improves mobility around gardens and orchards, allowing straightforward cutting of small to medium branches without the limitations of a power cable.

Advantages

This pruning chainsaw combines portability with a focused cutting length suitable for precise branch work. The battery operation provides silent and emission-free use compared with petrol alternatives, and the short guide bar reduces weight and improves maneuverability when working at different angles. As a simple lightweight unit, it is easy to carry and store, and the integrated chain tensioning and safety features are adapted for frequent pruning tasks.

Suitable for

• Pruning and trimming garden trees and shrubs
• Cutting small to medium-diameter branches
• Orchard maintenance and backyard tree care
• Tasks requiring a lightweight, portable cutting tool

When it may not be suitable

This model uses a short 150 mm guide bar and is intended for pruning and light cutting. It is not suitable for heavy-duty felling, cutting large-diameter logs, or continuous high-volume professional forestry work. For extended cutting sessions or very thick branches, a larger chainsaw with higher battery capacity or petrol power is recommended.

Key specifications

• Power source: 18 V lithium-ion battery (2.5 Ah)
• Guide bar length: 150 mm
• Application: pruning and light branch cutting
• Design: cordless, handheld pruning chainsaw
• Typical advantages: lightweight, portable, low vibration

How to use

Before use, charge the compatible 18 V battery fully and check the chain tension and lubrication. Hold the saw with both hands, position the guide bar against the branch, and apply steady pressure while allowing the chain to cut; avoid forcing the tool. Use controlled cuts starting from the outer branch toward the trunk for safer pruning, and follow safe support and cutting angles to prevent pinching. After use, turn off the tool, remove the battery for storage, clean sawdust from the guide bar and chain, and inspect chain sharpness and tension before the next session.

What to consider before purchase

• Intended use: pruning and light branch cutting rather than heavy felling
• Battery compatibility and whether the battery/charger are included in the kit
• Guide bar length (150 mm) and its suitability for the branch diameters you expect to cut
• Maintenance needs: chain sharpening, lubrication, and periodic tension checks

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (eye protection, gloves, and non-slip footwear) and follow local safety guidelines for chainsaw use. For best results, keep the chain sharp and properly tensioned, and avoid cutting wet or frozen wood where performance may be reduced.
