Sensore di movimento PIR SATEL slim-PIR-PET 5 — rilevatore passivo a infrarossi pet-immune, modello compatto da interno

PIR motion detector SATEL SLIM-PIR-PET 5 is a compact passive infrared sensor designed for indoor intrusion detection. The device integrates pet-immune functionality to reduce false alarms caused by small animals and is intended for use in residential and commercial alarm systems. Its slim housing and wall-mount form factor make it suitable for perimeter and interior protection where reliable motion detection is required.

Advantages

The detector combines passive infrared technology with pet immunity to maintain detection sensitivity while minimizing false alarms from animals. It has a wide detection area and angle, operates over a broad temperature range, and requires a standard 12 V DC power supply. The compact dimensions allow discreet installation in various indoor locations.

Suitable for

• Residential intrusion detection in homes and apartments
• Commercial indoor protection in offices, shops and storage areas
• Perimeter monitoring of rooms and corridors

Key specifications

• Detection technology: passive infrared (PIR)
• Detection area: up to 12 m × 13 m
• Detection angle: 90°
• Operating temperature range: -10°C to +55°C
• Power supply: 12 V DC
• Dimensions: 62 × 137 × 42 mm

How to use

Mount the SLIM-PIR-PET 5 on a wall at the recommended height for the protected area and connect it to the alarm system's 12 V DC power supply following the system manufacturer's wiring diagram. Align the detector to cover the intended detection zone, avoiding direct exposure to heating vents or air conditioners. After installation, test the detector using the alarm system's walk-test procedure to confirm coverage and adjust positioning if necessary.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, install the detector where its field of view is unobstructed and free from rapid temperature changes or direct sunlight. Regularly test the device as part of routine alarm system maintenance and keep the lens clean from dust and debris to maintain reliable detection.
