Key specifications

• Sensor type: Type K thermocouple
• Measuring range: −50 to +205°C
• Measurement method: Contact temperature measurement
• Response: Fast response suitable for spot checks and routine monitoring
• Compatibility: Designed for use with compatible testo meters and data loggers

How to use

Connect the Type K probe to a compatible testo meter or data logger following the instrument manufacturer’s connection instructions. Position the probe in direct contact with the surface or medium to be measured, allowing sufficient time for the reading to stabilise. For repeated measurements, ensure good thermal contact and avoid rapid displacements that can cause transient readings. After use, disconnect the probe and store it according to the instrument and probe care guidelines.

Recommendations

For reliable results, verify compatibility between the probe and the measuring device, check calibration status periodically, and ensure the probe tip is clean and undamaged. Avoid exposing the probe to temperatures outside the specified range and protect the cable and connector from mechanical stress to maintain measurement accuracy.
