Server rack ERNITEC SR-1X54R-A4-WS 1U, 4 vani, modello SR-1X54R-A4-WS

ERNITEC SR-1X54R-A4-WS is a 1U rack server with a 4-bay hot-swap drive bay layout designed for compact rack-mounted compute and storage. It is powered by an Intel Xeon 6357P CPU and comes with 32 GB of RAM, dual 500 GB drives configured in RAID1 for the operating system, an NVIDIA A400 GPU and dual 1 GbE network interfaces. The system includes IPMI for remote management, TPM for platform security, redundant 2 × 300 W power supplies and Windows Server 2025 Standard preinstalled.

Advantages

The short-depth 1U chassis is suitable for space-constrained racks while offering full server functionality including hardware redundancy, remote management and a dedicated GPU for accelerated workloads. Preinstalled Windows Server 2025 Standard and RAID1 OS drives simplify initial deployment and increase system availability. Redundant power supplies and TPM support enhance reliability and security for critical applications.

Suitable for

• Virtualization hosts for small to medium deployments
• File, backup or NAS-style storage with hot-swap drives
• Edge computing or compact data-centre racks
• Small databases or application servers requiring GPU acceleration

When it may not be suitable

This 1U server is optimized for compact rack environments and moderate workloads; it may not be suitable when high CPU core counts or very large memory capacities are required for heavy-scale virtualization or in-memory databases. Systems needing many high-capacity 3.5" drives beyond four bays or higher-bandwidth networking than 1 GbE would require a different platform.

Key specifications

• Form factor: 1U rack-mount chassis, short depth (54 cm)
• Drive bays: 4 hot-swap bays (supports up to 4 × 3.5" HDDs, software RAID support)
• CPU: Intel Xeon 6357P, 8 cores / 16 threads, 3.0–5.4 GHz
• Memory: 32 GB RAM (installed)
• Storage: 2 × 500 GB SSD configured as RAID1 for OS
• GPU: NVIDIA A400 with 4 × mini DisplayPort 1.4a outputs
• Networking: Dual 1 GbE ports plus a dedicated IPMI NIC
• Management: IPMI remote management
• Security: TPM module included
• Power: Redundant 2 × 300 W power supplies
• OS: Windows Server 2025 Standard preinstalled
• Accessories: Rack rails included; Euro CEE 7 to C13 power cable(s) supplied

How to use

Install the server into a compatible 19" rack using the included rails, connect network and power using the supplied cables, and complete initial setup through the IPMI interface or local console. The OS is preinstalled on mirrored SSDs; use the IPMI for remote firmware updates, monitoring and out-of-band management. Add or replace hot-swap drives for storage capacity or maintenance without shutting down the system when configured appropriately.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm rack depth compatibility (short depth: 54 cm) and available rack units.
• Evaluate whether dual 1 GbE networking meets your throughput and latency needs or if higher-speed NICs are required.
• Check required drive capacity and whether up to four 3.5" bays are sufficient for your storage needs.
• Ensure Windows Server 2025 Standard licensing and configuration meet your software requirements.
• Verify power connector compatibility for your region; only Euro CEE 7 to C13 cables are included.

Recommendations

For reliable operation in data-centre or edge deployments, place the server in a ventilated rack with redundant networking where possible, keep firmware and drivers updated via IPMI, and use RAID and regular backups for critical data. If higher network throughput is needed, add suitable NICs or use a top-of-rack switch with aggregated links.
