Set brugola Wera 950/9 Christmas Hex-Plus HF 1

The Wera 950/9 Christmas Hex-Plus HF 1 is a high-quality set of L-shaped hex keys designed for hexagon socket screws. The Hex-Plus profile increases the contact surface with the screw head, minimising notching and reducing damage to the screw. The long-arm design provides extra leverage for higher torque and includes a holding function: a flexible locking ball on the long arm clamps the screw to aid work in confined or hard-to-reach spaces.

Advantages

The Hex-Plus profile gives larger contact surfaces in the screw head, reducing rounding and wear. Extra-long arms provide increased leverage for high power transmission. The integrated holding function secures screws on the key via a locking ball, facilitating single-handed operation in restricted areas. High corrosion protection ensures durable performance over time.

Suitable for

• Assembly and disassembly of hexagon socket screws
• Work in tight or hard-to-reach spaces where screw retention is needed
• Professional maintenance and repair tasks
• DIY and household projects requiring high torque and screw protection

Key specifications

• Brand: Wera

How to use

Select the appropriately sized hex key for the screw. Insert the short or long arm into the screw head depending on access and required torque. Use the extra-long arm for greater leverage; use the short arm for tighter spaces. To use the holding function, press the key onto the screw head so the flexible locking ball engages and clamps the screw, allowing the screw to be held on the key during positioning and tightening.

Recommendations

For best results, start turning screws at low force to ensure correct seating, then apply steady torque. Avoid using excessive force beyond the screw or tool rating. Keep keys clean and dry to maintain corrosion protection and inspect the Hex-Plus edges periodically for wear.
