Set di chiavi a brugola Wera 05021909001

The Wera 05021909001 is a 9-piece metric L-shaped hex key set designed for hexagonal socket screws. Featuring Wera's Hex-Plus profile and chrome-plated finish, the set provides a larger contact surface inside the screw head to minimise cam-out and reduce notching, while the chrome plating improves corrosion resistance. The keys have an extra-long arm for extended reach and versatility, and the compact packaging supports easy storage and transport.

Advantages

Hex-Plus geometry increases contact area within the screw recess, decreasing the risk of rounding and damage. Chrome-plated surfaces offer enhanced corrosion protection and a precise fit. The extra-long arm gives better access to recessed or hard-to-reach fasteners. The set contains nine metric sizes, providing coverage for common hex screw applications.

Suitable for

• Assembly and disassembly of machinery and equipment using metric hex screws
• Maintenance tasks in workshops and garages
• Furniture assembly and general household repairs
• Accessing recessed or hard-to-reach hex socket fasteners

How to use

Select the hex key that matches the screw size. Insert the short or long arm into the hex socket for the required leverage—use the long arm for reach and the short arm for higher torque. Ensure the key is fully seated in the socket before applying force to reduce wear on the screw head. After use, wipe the keys clean and store them in the original holder or a suitable tool organiser.

Recommendations

Use the correct size from the set to avoid damaging screw recesses; avoid applying excessive torque beyond the fastener's specification. Store the keys dry and clean to maintain the chrome finish and prevent corrosion.
