The Gedore 6280180 socket set contains hand-operated sockets with forged, tempered hexagon (No. 32) or UD profile (No. D 32) and accessories made from Gedore vanadium steel (31CrV3). The set is supplied in a Gedore blue sheet steel case and includes either a fine-toothed, dial-change ratchet (set U-2) or a ratchet with square coupler (set Z-94). Advantages

Components forged and tempered for strength and longevity; accessories manufactured from vanadium steel (31CrV3) for improved wear resistance. Two ratchet options are available—fine-toothed with dial change for precise work, or a ratchet with square coupler for standard applications. Packaged in a robust sheet steel case that protects tools and keeps them organised.

How to use

Select the socket with the correct profile and size for the fastener. Attach the socket to the chosen ratchet (U-2 or Z-94) and engage the drive. Use steady, controlled force when turning to avoid rounding fasteners. After use, return sockets and ratchet to the designated slots in the sheet steel case to prevent damage and simplify storage.

Recommendations

For best results, keep tools clean and lightly lubricated at the ratchet mechanism; inspect sockets for wear before use and use the fine-toothed ratchet (U-2) for precision tasks, switching to the square-coupler ratchet (Z-94) for heavier or standard work.
