Set di chiavi a bussola Hazet 986-SR/8, set da 8 pezzi bussole esagonali corte, 6–17 mm, nero

Hazet 986-SR/8 is an 8-piece set of short hexagon sockets in a black finish, covering metric sizes 6 mm through 17 mm. The compact short profile is designed to be used with standard ratchets and handles, providing reliable torque transfer and improved access in confined or tight workspaces. The set is suited to professional automotive, workshop and maintenance environments where a durable, space-saving socket assortment is required.

Advantages

The short hexagon sockets offer a compact design that facilitates work in limited-access areas while maintaining sufficient engagement with fasteners. The black finish improves corrosion resistance and reduces glare during use. Precision machining ensures a close fit on hex fasteners for consistent torque application and reduced rounding risk. The set spans common metric sizes to cover typical fastening tasks without the need for individual socket purchases.

Suitable for

• Automotive repairs and servicing
• General workshop maintenance and assembly
• Electrical cabinets and equipment with limited access
• Hobbyist and professional mechanical work in tight spaces

Key specifications

• Pieces: 8
• Sizes: 6 mm, 7 mm, 8 mm, 9 mm, 10 mm, 11 mm, 13 mm, 17 mm
• Profile: short hexagon sockets
• Finish: black
• Drive compatibility: for use with ratchets and handles (standard square drive)
• Material: hardened chrome-vanadium steel (typical for industrial sockets)

How to use

Select the socket that matches the hex fastener size, push it onto the ratchet or handle square drive until it locks, then place the socket onto the fastener. Apply steady torque with the ratchet or handle to tighten or loosen the fastener. For work in confined spaces, use the short profile to gain access where longer sockets would not fit. After use, clean the sockets of debris and store them in their case to preserve the finish and ensure quick retrieval.

Recommendations

Verify correct socket-to-fastener fit before applying high torque to avoid rounding. Use a torque-limiting tool when precise torque values are required. Store the set in a dry environment and wipe sockets after exposure to moisture or corrosive substances to maintain the black finish and prevent corrosion.
