Set di scalpelli Kirschen 1151002 — 4 pz. con custodia in pelle, larghezze 10, 16, 20, 26 mm

This Kirschen chisel set includes four bevel-edged wood chisels in nominal widths 10 mm, 16 mm, 20 mm and 26 mm, supplied with a leather carrying and storage bag. The chisels are intended for general woodworking tasks such as paring, chopping, trimming and fitting joints. The set covers a useful range of cutting widths for furniture making, cabinet work and repair jobs, while the leather bag keeps tools organised and protected in the workshop or on site.

Advantages

The set offers a compact selection of commonly used chisel widths so you can switch between fine paring and wider joint work without changing tool families. The leather bag provides secure storage, prevents blade damage and simplifies transport. Each chisel blade is hardened and ground to maintain a reliable cutting edge, and the handles are shaped for a controlled grip and precise hand work.

Suitable for

• Paring and cleaning up joints in furniture and cabinet making
• Chopping mortises and trimming tenons
• General carpentry repair and finishing work
• On-site woodworking where compact, organised tool storage is needed

Key specifications

• Set contents: four bevel-edged wood chisels, widths 10 mm, 16 mm, 20 mm, 26 mm
• Blade material: hardened and ground steel for edge retention
• Handle: ergonomically shaped handles for controlled hand guidance
• Storage: leather carrying and storage bag with individual pockets
• Intended use: hand paring, chopping and fitting in woodworking and joinery

How to use

Select the chisel width appropriate to the task and secure the workpiece in a vice or bench clamp. Hold the chisel with the bevel facing the surface to be pared when removing thin shavings, or with the bevel outward when chopping across grain for mortising. Use controlled hand pressure for paring and a mallet for chopping when greater force is needed. After use, clean and lightly oil the blades if required and store each chisel in its pocket inside the leather bag to protect the edges.

Recommendations

Maintain blade sharpness with regular honing on a fine stone and avoid striking the handle with metal hammers. For chopping work use a wooden or rawhide mallet to prolong handle life. Store chisels dry and keep the leather bag conditioned to preserve its protective properties.
